Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Axiom EdTech ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Osim IELTS Tracker mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the App:

• Email address (account & authentication). When you create an account or sign in — using a one-time email code or Google Sign-In — we collect your email address. It is used solely to create and secure your account and to sign you in.
• Device & advertising identifiers (ads). For users on the free tier, the App displays ads through Google AdMob, which automatically collects your device's advertising identifier and related device information to deliver and measure ads. We request non-personalized ads. Users with a PRO subscription do not see ads.
• Profile & learning data you provide. Information you choose to add — such as a username, avatar, study progress, practice scores, custom decks, and any content you post in community features or messages — so we can provide the service and sync it across your sessions.
• Limited diagnostic data. Basic, non-identifying technical data (such as error events) may be processed to keep the App stable.

We do not collect your name, phone number, precise location, contacts, or payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To provide, personalize, and sync your learning experience and progress.
• To display and measure ads to free-tier users (via Google AdMob).
• To operate community features you choose to use, and to enforce safety and abuse rules.
• To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App.

3. Advertising

Ads are served by Google AdMob. Google may use device and advertising identifiers to provide and measure ads. We request non-personalized ads within the App. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads), and you can review Google's practices in the Google Privacy & Terms.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the App:

• Supabase — our backend provider, which hosts authentication, the database, and storage (this processes your email and the profile/learning data above).
• Google AdMob & Google Play Services — to deliver and measure ads and to support core platform functionality.
• Lemon Squeezy — our Merchant of Record, which securely processes optional PRO subscription purchases made outside the App. We never receive or store your payment card details.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and content are removed from our systems (backups are purged on a rolling basis). You may also enable automatic account deletion after a period of inactivity from within the App.

6. Your Rights & Choices

• Access & correction. You can view and update your profile information at any time in the App.
• Deletion. You can permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account, or by emailing us using the contact below.
• Ad controls. Reset or opt out of your advertising identifier in your device settings, as described in Section 3.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and strict server-side access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and review our security regularly.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country. By using the App, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information as described in this policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do, and significant changes will be reflected within the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
